Walked along Lake Garda edge towards Desenzano. Very pebbly and lots of private areas closed off. Saw leather woman tanning her pancakes. Saw Suzie Q mullet about 10 feet long at the back. What's with all the dogs! Saw blokes with dog slings. Just choke the fuckers. Tried to work out how to get to Sirmione in the morning.
Another sleep in. Good. Breakfast including cornflakes. Not many people at the hostel.
Dinner at hotel. Chef/waiter was very speedy. Only 4 of us eating. Ate one course and took last chew and plate taken away and next course in. Chef stood next to us watching us chew with a smile on our faces. Looking for thanks. I think it was nice, maybe it was sad.
Breakfast in hotel. Now I am no chef, but I think I can boil eggs. The whole basket of eggs was uncooked, except the first one Veronica took. Mgr came over and checked as well. Then went away to bash Manuel. Had to laugh, no good to cry.
Toilet Nazi, this one .8E because it is a UNESCO site . First view of Venice out of Venezia St Lucia is the Grand Canal. Amazing like a movie. Had to ask how to get to Villa Casanova on Lido Island. First dinner crap in the main street was frozen lasagne crap. Has second dinner later at the Pizza bar near the canal which was very nice. How about the mozzies in the room!
Brekkie at the Casanova was a great starter.
Had dinner at recommended 'Africa' very good. I went to a bar and watched a bit of a Serie A game. Was snippets from each game, so it jumped over when something was happening. Non-stop entertainment.
